Inspiration

We didn’t just aim to make a film—we wanted to show what’s truly possible with AI filmmaking today. Garuda began as a heartfelt idea about kindness, compassion, and the quiet connections between humans and nature. The story felt meaningful, and we wanted to bring it to life in a cinematic way despite limited resources.

About the Project & How We Built It

Garuda tells the story of an elderly fisherman who rescues an injured eagle, forming a silent bond that later returns in a powerful, unexpected way. We blended traditional storytelling with cutting-edge AI tools to create every visual element. While the writing, sound, and creative direction were shaped through traditional filmmaking expertise, the entire visual world—from the eagle and stormy seascapes to the fishing village and its people—was created using AI. This allowed us to achieve emotional depth and complex visuals that would have been nearly impossible to capture with real birds, large crews, or challenging locations. Our custom AI pipeline handled character continuity, lighting, motion refinement, and environmental consistency. This hybrid approach enabled us to craft cinematic shots, realistic bird movements, and atmospheric scenes that bring the fisherman’s world to life.

Accomplishments / Response

This project was a true labor of love, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive—from kids to elders, general audiences, and industry veterans. We are close to crossing 100K organic views on YouTube, which means a lot to us. We’re extremely proud of what we’ve created and deeply grateful that the film’s emotion and message are resonating with so many people.
