Inspired by retro games like Final Fight, Street Fighter, Castlevania, Demons Crest and Mortal Kombat and cartoons from the 80s and 90s.

How it works

Its an action infinite runner, you run to the right and kill everything in sight, becoming more and more powerful as you level up.

Challenges I ran into

There were many, but being a mobile game finding the right concoction of plugins and features and monetization systems to try to make a great game. its really difficult.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Proud to do what we did with custom leaderboard, facebook integration, releasing the game over multiple platforms and so far over 10,000 downloads, and the learning experience alone to execute new games.

What I learned

alot! marketing wise and about the mobile platform, and monetization.

What's next for Gargula: Bloodrush

We have a substantial update in the works to revamp the way the level is designed and being generated and all new revamped art. Also the big plan is to create a true 1st game for this property we have started as this game Gargula: Bloodrush is a standalone casual title, while the next game will expand on the current world, characters and lore and be a story driven game. Possibly retro or full 3D this time out, this is yet to be determined. ;)
