Inspiration
We wanted people to have access to good, organic foods, without having to worry too much about keeping up with their plants, or knowing everything there is to know about gardening.
What it does
GardInspire is a web application that suggests gardening plants and information to the user upon request using a generative AI model. The application can persistently store user information on a database and the model will use this information for more personalized responses.
Achievement
We are proud of how many features we were able to implement into the application, within such a constrained time limit. None of us had known each other before this hackathon, and none of use had an amazing idea before coming into the event. But together, we were able to create something that is worth standing on its own.
What's next for GardInspire
We hope to expand this app to have more persistent data about the user, be able to send notifications, and use image recognition software to diagnose what might be wrong with one of your home plants, just by looking at it! This app truly has the potential to be something great, and we believe in it do it so.
