Inspiration
Gardening is an underrated creative outlet for young children. Gardener hopes to help make gardening fun so it can be enjoyed by all.
What it does
It contains a suite of tools to help people start and manage their gardens. It includes an artificial intelligence component to identify plants, a fitness tracking component to track steps and calories burned and steps taken, and a garden manager to manage their gardens and plants in those gardens.
How we built it
I used Flutter for the mobile app, Spring Boot for the REST API, VueJS for the web app, and Tensorflow for the artificial intelligence.
Challenges we ran into
I had trouble with the artificial intelligence, but finally figured it out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud of the UI and animations.
What we learned
I learned how to style a website in a nice way.
What's next for Gardener
I will finish up the web component, and add more tools to help gardening.
