With more than 8 billion people in the world, we’re creating more and more garbage but we have nowhere to put it! That’s why it’s very important to sort to save our environment.
With a team of 3 beginner coders, we were able to use p5js to code a game which targets the young audience. This application teaches the new generations how to properly sort our waste and keep it from further damaging the environment.
We have never had the experience of participating in a Hackathon under the immense pressure of completing it successfully and efficiently. We encountered many times where it took a while to debug our code, but with the three of us working on it together, we were always able to root out the problem. Although the application was completed, it is still not the best that we could have created if we had more time. There were many improvements we would have liked to add. However, with the short period of time we were given, we are still satisfied with what we came up with.
