What it does

Garage is a platform aiming to digitalize car dealership and resselling in Algeria, making it easy for sellers know the worth of their car and for buyers to find what suits them, using AI. The sellers can add an annoucement filling the caracteristiscs of the car and joining a picture then our trained model predicts the selling price and provides a price interval for the seller to choose from, this way there will be no highly underpriced or overpriced cars, for this we also thought of updating our data considering the evolving market. The buyers, when creating an account, share their preferences as to what they like, then they are recomended different annoucements. They can look for a specific car or apply filters then get result annoucements, they're able to add them to their fav, consult them for more details then maybe contact the seller. Buyers can also leave comments and ratings on a seller account

What we learned

We learned how to work as team and focus on what's most important which is our projet and that despite our differences and disagreements. In addition to all the skills we learned from the trainnings in all our respective filds, that we got the chance to apply in this project. We can safy say that we expreienced the learning by doing and the spirit behind the trainning camp.

What's next for Garage

We have many perspectives and future plans for Garage, mostly in the machine learning part. We would like to implement the recomendation system, we did some research and found a way to realise it using similarities. However we'll need another dataset or one that is more adapted to the situation. In addition to an image recognition system using neural networks, that is supposed to check if the image matches the filled in information.
