🔍 Inspiration

We often struggled to communicate across roles—like frontend and backend—due to a lack of shared understanding. We wanted to make complex messages, code, and documents instantly understandable—right where people work and chat. Gapless was born to bridge that gap through instant, clear explanations.

💡 What It Does

Gapless explains any selected text in Slack or Discord using AI. Users get instant, plain-language breakdowns with the option to ask for more detail.

🛠️ How We Built It

We used Node.js with Slack and Discord SDKs for bot development, integrated with a FastAPI backend for AI-powered text analysis and explanation.
