Inspiration: Internship at a hospital which showed us the copious amounts of paper being wasted on a daily basis, along with the inefficiency of record keeping at majority of hospitals.
What it does: It acts as a record keeper for all patients, allowing for doctors to enter a patient ID and instantly have all the required information.
How we built it: Wix, using javascript and databases.
Challenges we ran into: The difficulty in using Wix. It gave us multiple errors for seemingly no reason, along with the fact that we had to all learn JavaScript in an extremely short amount of time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Being able to make it work on Wix, and tackling our issues such as having had no experience in JavaScript along with the fact that our original solution was to use Python and SQL languages.
What we learned: Adaptability and the fruit of never giving up. +JavaScript and Databases.
What's next for Hospital Database: Allowing us to connect to cloud servers, having the data accessible to doctors and patients both (Allowing for patients to bring up their prescriptions and medical history with ease). Furthermore, integrating a scheduling system within the site, so that scheduling becomes easier for patients and doctors.
