Inspiration
I always loved playing games and wanted someday to make my own game. The gamethon'20 was the perfect opportunity to actually learn about game development and make my own working game.
What it does
This is a simple FPS shooting game where you have to defeat all the enemies to beat the game , there are 3 stages and each stage has enemies different from the other stages. So you have a limited health (100) and there are ammo crates randomly placed in the game , so that in case you run out of ammo you can reload your ammo with the help of these crates. There are also spikes randomly present in the game , so if you collide with the spike you lose some health.
How I built it
This game was built using unity 3d.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge I faced was to make the enemies move around and shoot at the player but with the help of unity AI module and brackey's tutorials , this was finally solved.
What I learned
I learn much about game design (thanks to the webinar).
What's next for Gamethon : FPS SIMPLE SSHOOTER GAME
Maybe I can remake this game by using more realistic skins and assets and work on more stage design and improve the overall physics used in the game.
