Inspiration
Resource Allocation and Tracking involves a lot of manual effort. Day to day struggle faced by the resource manager , to find the right resources for the right project, analysis of the resource availability, core skill sets required for the project, allocation of resources based on the project cost and schedule.
What it does
Resource Planner Tool helps manage professional service resources and their skills, experience, certifications and career paths. Track the current project allocation and availability of the resources for new engagement. Allocate the resources to project as per budget, resource skills and availability.

Using Pega's Case Management, we were able to complete phase 1 of this application in limited time and resource availability.

What's next
Future releases for "Resource Planner" will include features like Suggest optimum allocation, Track holidays and vacation, Integrate with HR systems, Integrate with internal tools i.e. teams/zoom/WebEx.
