Inspiration

I was inspired by GLaDOS from portal and all the time I have spent in ChatGPT refining my video game development ideas

What it does

This chat bot will currently critique your game ideas with a oneliner in the voice of GLaDOS but if the user forgets to send a prompt it responds very sarcastically.

How we built it

This chatbot was built using Discord.js, node, repl.it, and ChatGPT

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge I ran into was getting the discord command to wait for the response from ChatGpt but after rigorous testing and document reading, I was discovered that I could put a wait at the beginning of the command that would allow you more time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I learned discord.js and setup a chatbot that uses ChatGPT in one day

What's next for GameIdeaChatBot

Get the chatbot to refine the game ideas, and setup a brainstorm function. currently this is an option that can be passed to the generate command but it is not functional yet.
