Inspiration wanted to make something that is fun and that everyone could enjoy
What it does Challenges your thinking skills with puzzle games and your gaming skills with simple arcade games
How we built it We built it using python flask to host and then used html, css, and javascript to implement all the games
Challenges we ran into: At the beginning we were going to web scrape but the websites didn't allow access so we had to pivot a few hours in. We had issues implementing such complex games with few external libraries and with such simple coding languages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: The games are really fun to play! There are some really challenging ones that required a lot of testing and modifications due to complexity and solvability.
What we learned: Lots of code, new frameworks, more about git branching.
What's next for Game Gauntlet: Publishing online and adding more statistics for people to share and compete with their friends!
