Inspiration
We saw Full Sail university's cool project at the career fair which inspired us to want to work with some form of hardware. We decided to use a raspberry pi 5 from MLH to create a cool project where we learn about the hardware.
What it does
Using your hand, buttons, a keyboard or your eyes, you can play the game 2048.
How we built it
We used a raspberry pi and connected it to buttons where each button is responsible for one of the 4 movements.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled with sshing into our raspberry pi. It was our first time using one and after a lot of trial and error we eventually figured out how to use it and make the most of it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of all that we have learned through this project and the hackathon. We overcame a lot of obstacles with the raspberry pi and working with new tools.
What we learned
We learned how to work in unity, python, C#, and opencv. On the hardware side we got to learn how to use a rasberry pi and physical buttons to accomplish our task.
What's next for Game Controller
Using infered light to play 2048 or potentially making this using chess.
