Inspiration

Sports Betting can be really difficult and hard to predict. However, there are some work around that can optimize your earnings and success. We wanted to explore those optimizations

What it does

This sportsbook has been built to show the best bets you can make for NFL teams.

How we built it

We built the front end using NextJS + TailwindCSS to generate a friendly user interface. The backend was built using NodeJS and a MongoDB database. With our Node backend, we pulled odds data from the Odds-APi

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the frontend and backend. Managing the Navbar across multiple pages. Pulling the data correctly from the Odds-API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Connecting the front and backend. Learning how to use NextJS to develop a seamless frontend.

What we learned

Javascript asynch functions. React user states and user effects. How sports betting works.

What's next for Gambling Guru

NBA, NHL, NCAA. Implementing the platform for multiple sports.
