I am incredibly passionate about pure math and I've always wished this existed so people could explore and play with symmetry. There are many notions of symmetry, from the traditional mirror images we talk about in elementary school to the ways we find roots of polynomials, but all of these concepts are very similar in the powerful framework of modern algebra.

It aims to showcase basic group theory via intuitive, fun puzzles.

Originally the plan was Gdevelop, then it was Godot. I tried Then I lost the rest of my team so I decided to do this one solo with a language I could handle, c++.

Gdevelop couldn't do everything we needed, and Godot was too hard to learn in the span of time we had. The rest of my team gave up and I had to basically start the whole thing from scratch again.

I am really proud that I stuck this through and made at least a semi-functional deliverable. It is not as beautiful or exciting as I originally hoped, but I am glad I made something.

I need to spend a lot more time on game development. Also, that planning is a ton of work and took up many hours.

I want to learn much more game dev, so I can make this into the game I originally thought of. I think it will be a great educational tool once I have the resources and knowledge to build it.
