Simple Static Website

Hello! This is my first hackathon and first time creating my own project outside of class. Goal is to start a long-term project to showcase skills and technologies applied. There is a lot to learn.

Inspiration

My inspiration was to create an online presence. Seeing how unique and beautiful websites look I am interested in making a long-term project to release my creative energy.

What it does

For now, it is a static website. It displays my project from class and describes who I am.

How we built it

This project is currently in progress and built with HTML and CSS. Technologies like MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js are on the way!

Challenges we ran into

Timing and relearning skills from class. Applying this independently has been a good learning point.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Proud to have started a project for myself. This is something I will continue.

What we learned

Learned that starting is never easy. Also, learned to join a hackathon with another classmate to improve skills because I like learning with others.

What's next for Simple Static Website

Formatting the CSS styling and adding in more technologies to make the website dynamic.
