Inspiration

Job seekers often struggle with writing, designing, and optimizing their resumes for applicant tracking systems. We wanted to reimagine this stressful process as a fun, gamified, and voice-guided experience, making career development beautiful, futuristic, and accessible.

We were inspired by:

The frustration of plain text resume builders

The accessibility gap for non-native English speakers or visually impaired users

The need for creative resumes in modern, design-heavy industries

And the idea: “What if building a resume felt like piloting a spaceship?”

What We Learned

Building 3D resume previews using Three.js is both powerful and fun

AI prompt engineering can turn voice input into perfect bullet points

Users prefer conversational UI over static forms

Accessibility features like voice interaction and multilingual support are huge game-changers

Gamifying even a serious task (like resumes) can increase engagement and completion rates

How We Built It

We started by designing a voice-first flow using Bolt's voice prompt system, where users speak their experience and the AI converts it into resume content. We integrated:

3D resume viewers with floating card-like resumes in a cosmic environment using Three.js

AI-generated summaries and skill-based suggestions using GPT-4.5

Mock interview bot with audio feedback

A resume style selector (Creative, Developer, Minimal, Orbit Theme)

A PDF resume generator with downloadable links and QR codes

Optional portfolio builder for developers and designers

And finally, progress badges and certificate generator for completed resumes
