Galactic Vote

Galactic Vote is a resource for college students to navigate the vast galaxy of voting. We simplify the voting process through providing resources to educate students on the voting processes.

Comment

Inspiration: As out of state college students we are inspired to create a web page to provide resources to educate students like ourselves, and those in state.

What it does: Provides information on the national candidates, provides resources depending on if you're an in state or out of state student.

How we built it: Using html, Css, github, and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into: Git merging conflicts, researching the voting process, implementing the interactive forms in Javascript.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Creating custom graphics for our logo and site. Creating a functional site with information on how to vote for Mass (in state residences).

What we learned: How to use github, use html and css.

What's next for Galactic Vote: Expanding our target audience to increase accessibility for senior voters.
