Inspiration - We used technology and innovation as an inspiration for the project.
We came up with the idea of a space delivery drone after thinking for 2 hours about possible futuristic transportation topics.
What it does - The project is a website that shows a futuristic drone delivery from the Earth to the Moon, Mars, and the ISS through a delivery drone, whether you want a package or a DoorDash delivery.
It consists of three delivery sites, and a textbox that helps the user type in a product they want to be ordered. Then, the user controls the drone and picks up the package from Earth, and then drives the drone to the destination and drop the package.
How we built it - We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a website that features this.
We added a container to contain the drone delivery game with the Earth, and planets to represent destinations.
Challenges we ran into - Debugging our code was a major challenge, especially when it came to CSS, since many of the image elements were overlapping.
We kept running into problems with image displays inside the container, which was frustrating.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - Creating something extravagant on our first Ridgehacks.
We are also proud of our drone game that works smoothly, as it took Manuel several hours to debug most of it.
What we learned - Debugging code by using inspect, and using CSS Transform.
Due to all of the problems we ran into with displays we learned more about using inspect when debugging.
