Inspiration
We draw inspiration from an initiative by an Indonesian professor dedicated to educating underprivileged students in isolated areas.
What it does
Gado-Gado is a decentralized, offline-first educational repository and digital learning manager built for remote schools with limited or unreliable internet access. This innovative platform aims to bridge the educational gap where traditional online learning fails due to connectivity challenges.
How we built it
First, we created the design in Figma, then developed the website using HTML, ensuring a user-friendly and accessible interface.
Challenges we ran into
Our primary challenge was figuring out how to integrate the database into our website. As this is our first hackathon, we faced a learning curve in building a fully functional web application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully designed an intuitive and visually appealing UI in Figma, and we are proud of our efforts in developing the website using HTML.
What we learned
We gained valuable skills in designing a website from the ground up.
What's next for Gado-Gado
Our next steps involve building the complete database and backend infrastructure.
