Inspiration
I created GabHelp with the idea of making teachers' daily work easier, especially when it comes to creating and correcting answer sheets.
Challenges & Development
I developed the platform using Python, Django, OpenCV, and Tesseract OCR. One of the hardest parts was building the answer correction algorithm, making it work with different image conditions, and implementing internationalization to support multiple languages.
Results
The result is a functional SaaS platform where teachers can create tests, manage students, and automatically correct answer sheets. What started as an idea became a real product that aims to save teachers time and make their work easier.
