Inspiration

Inspired by the popular 2013 game Cookie Clicker.

What it does

Tea Biscuit Clicker is an addictive incremental game where you click on a biscuit to increase your score. Accumulate points to purchase and upgrade auto-clickers, allowing you to boost your future production. Keep scaling up to achieve higher and higher scores - it's the classic Cookie Clicker experience!

How we built it

This game was developed using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, collaboratively created on Replit, an online IDE that facilitates real-time multi-user coding.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered synchronization issues on Replit, which occasionally led to work being overwritten. Additionally, the platform's newly integrated AI often made unintended and unwarranted changes without user input.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully implemented key features and maintained effective communication throughout the development process, ensuring that everyone’s contributions were valued and integrated.

What we learned

We gained valuable insights into the importance of choosing the right development platform, recognising that Replit presented challenges that impacted our workflow and collaboration.

What's next for Tea Biscuit Clicker

We’re considering adding a boss system inspired by NGU Idle to introduce more depth and excitement to the gameplay.
