# G-Hire โ Gemini Powered AI Hiring Agent
๐ก Inspiration
The inspiration for this project came from real challenges faced in the freelancing ecosystem. Freelancers often struggle to find suitable clients, while hiring agencies spend significant time manually negotiating project requirements. In many cases, freelancers decline opportunities after long discussions due to pricing mismatches.
This problem motivated us to build an AI-powered hiring agent that can understand requirements, automate communication, and simplify the hiring workflow.

The MVP allows users to provide project requirements through multimodal inputs, which are analyzed and summarized into a structured quotation format.
- For freelancers, the system helps create professional profiles and intelligently pitches their skills to hiring agencies.
- For hiring agencies, the platform collects project details, matches suitable freelancers, and streamlines the hiring process.

โ ๏ธ Challenges We Ran Into
While developing the G-Hire AI Hiring Agent, we faced challenges in designing an AI system that could accurately understand user requirements and perform effective freelancer matching. Integrating automated outreach workflows and deploying backend services on cloud infrastructure required extensive testing and debugging. Additionally, completing a full end-to-end MVP within the limited hackathon timeline was a significant challenge.
๐ Accomplishments That We're Proud Of
We successfully built a functional AI hiring agent MVP within a short duration. The system can interpret project requirements, intelligently shortlist freelancers, and generate structured recommendations. We achieved smooth integration of AI services, automation workflows, and cloud deployment, delivering a solution that addresses a real-world hiring problem.
๐ What We Learned
Through this project, we gained hands-on experience in building a complete AI-driven full-stack application. We learned how to integrate frontend interfaces, backend APIs, cloud services, and AI models into a unified system. This project also strengthened our understanding of applying AI for requirement analysis, intelligent matching, and workflow automation.
๐ฎ Whatโs Next for G-Hire
In the future, we plan to enhance the platform with real-time voice interaction, AI-based freelancer ranking using embeddings, and automated negotiation capabilities. We also aim to expand the freelancer database, improve the user dashboard experience, and integrate secure payment and contract management features to make the system production-ready.
