About
Over the winter break, I wanted to practice a little web development after taking a front-end engineering class in the Fall. I wanted to make something that I would enjoy and thought of making a mock website for the CSUF Gaming & Esports club that I'm a part of. However, due to time commitments and starting the Spring semester, I was never able to start it. I thought that TuffyHacks was the perfect opportunity to at least start on the project, get it going, and bring in a friend to help build the project.
What We Learned
We learned how to implement and work around a navigation bar at the top of the page and adding some small animations.
How The Project Was Built
We used Visual Studio Code as our IDE and HTML and CSS for the languages. We also used Figma to layout what the page would look like during it's first stages before coding the actual project.
Challenges
Implementing a navigation bar was the hardest thing to implement and caused some issues along the way, but we were able to work through them.
