G-046 Safe Hajj

Inspiration

The many catastrophical tragedies that we have heared about in the different media tools, such as: the accidents or even the death of many people each year especially elder people and women, while practicing the rites of their Hajj or Umrah, beacuse of crush or a suddenly health problem and not knowing exactly the cause of it in order to treat it fast. This is what pushed as to think about a simple and an efficient solution to resolve that problem and make this unforgettable experience more safe for pilgrims.

What it does

Our project make sure that all people going to Hajj or Umrah will certainly have a QR code saved on their badges and braclets given by the responsible agency of their pilgrimage to be weared all the time, as well as containing all their information including personnal and medical ones, futher more the details about taking care of specific diseases or ilnesses. This is in order to be scanned in our mobile application by an organisator while affronting any pilgrim suffering from a health problem or needing help, that last one must look next for the near place that can provide a solution as soon as possible.

How we built it

Our project include two main parts, the mobile application which is bulilt using as principal technologies: NodeJs, Ionic, Sass, and permits us the scanning of the QR code that contains all the personnal and medical information. For the web application, we used : NodeJs, Angular, Material Angular, Firebase, Html5, Sass. This solution supervise the Data Base of the pilgrims all over the world.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The mass migration during the Hajj is unparalleled in scale, and pilgrims face numerous health hazards. That's why we let our project to be simple but so effecient, beacuse it will take care of all that pilgrims while practicing their rites of Hajj or Umrah. So, the amount of data which will be treated is very huge but important and significative to have a global idea about the situation of the medical systems. What's more this solution is considerated as a safety measure which will renforce and amid security and health concerns and is aimed at untoward incidents or health emergencies during the pilgrimage.

What's next for G-046 Safe Hajj

After obtaining the personnal and medical information, the mobile application will permit to detect the near place to treat the case (health emergency, etc) and minimize time and energy to do this. Futher more, while collecting the information of pilgrims by the authoroties, they will on parallel calculate statistics of the number of doctors and specialites whom will take in charge the safety of pilgrims.
