Inspiration

For 5+ years we have run FYD Studios, a creative and AI agency in Ahmedabad, delivering 40+ social media and AI video projects for real brands. Every month we repeated the same six steps by hand for every client: onboarding, brand kit, content calendar, creative, captions and posting. Our clients paid ₹30,000+ a month for it, or spent 20+ hours doing it themselves and still went off-brand. India has 47.7M MSMEs, 97% of them micro, and almost none can afford that. We realised the workflow itself could become software.

What it does

An AI platform that runs a small business's entire SMM from one brand kit:

  • Brand identity: if a business has no logo, the AI creates its logo, tagline and brand kit from scratch. If it has one, we extract colors, fonts and tone automatically.
  • AI content calendar: a full monthly plan with Indian festivals (Diwali, Navratri, Bhai Dooj) auto-detected.
  • On-brand creative and captions: posts, carousels and stories filled with the brand kit, captions written in the brand's voice, including Hindi and regional languages.
  • Cinematic AI studio: one interface over frontier models (Sora, Veo, Kling, Seedance, Flux) with camera, aspect ratio and style controls. Every video drops straight into the calendar.
  • Auto-publishing: posts go out to all major social platforms through their official APIs (Meta Graph API for Instagram and Facebook), so there is no ToS risk to the user's account.

One platform replaces an agency plus 5 to 7 separate tools.

How we built it

We started from our own agency workflow and turned each manual step into a pipeline layer. We scoped 73 features into Core, Nice-to-have, Later and Out buckets, designed the full UX flow, and built an interactive UI prototype covering brand onboarding, the monthly calendar, bundle review and the cinematic AI studio.

The architecture is a Next.js frontend with an API layer and async worker pool, Postgres, Redis and S3 on AWS Mumbai. A model router sends each generation job to the right AI model, with a credit ledger and hard per-user cost caps. Publishing runs through our own scheduler and the official platform APIs.

Challenges we ran into

  • Platform approval: Meta's App Review for publishing permissions needs a working demo and takes 4 to 8 weeks, so it shapes our whole build order.
  • AI cost control: video models cost a lot per generation, so we designed credits and hard spend caps before exposing anything publicly.
  • Brand consistency: keeping one identity consistent across posts, video, logos and different platform formats was the hardest design problem. We solved it by making the brand kit the governing input for every output, not a passive asset library.
  • A crowded market: tools like Predis, SocialPilot and ZocialOne already do content plus scheduling, so we had to find where we are genuinely different.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • A brand kit that drives every output, so a business never re-prompts or loses its voice.
  • Cold-start identity generation, so we can serve brand-new micro-businesses that other tools can't even onboard.
  • Combining full SMM automation with a cinematic AI video studio in one workflow, which no competitor we found offers.

What we learned

For small businesses, the bottleneck was never making one post. It is running the whole workflow on-brand, every month, without a team. We also learned that this market is won on depth, not price, and that official APIs matter more to our users than any single feature.

What's next for FYD Studios

  • Ship the MVP and submit platform app reviews
  • Onboard our first 100 paying design partners from our agency clients
  • Launch the cinematic AI studio in beta
  • Add packaging and A+ content design from the same brand kit
  • Expand to more platforms and international markets
