Inspiration
Many students and fresh graduates struggle to understand whether their resumes are industry-ready, which skills they should learn next, and how to prepare for interviews effectively. While there are many job portals available, most of them focus only on job listings rather than providing personalized career guidance.
As a student with experience in Data Science and Generative AI, I wanted to create a solution that could act as a personal AI career mentor. The goal was to help students identify skill gaps, improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, and receive actionable career guidance based on their individual profiles.
What It Does
FutureForge AI is an AI-powered career guidance platform that helps students and job seekers make smarter career decisions.
The platform allows users to:

Challenges We Faced
Resume Understanding
Resumes come in different formats and structures. Extracting meaningful information consistently required careful preprocessing and prompt engineering.
Skill Gap Analysis
Mapping user skills to industry requirements was challenging because job roles often require diverse combinations of technical and soft skills.
AI Response Quality
Generating useful and actionable career advice required extensive prompt optimization to avoid generic responses.
User Experience
Presenting complex career analytics in a simple and user-friendly way was an important design challenge.
