Inspiration
Our daily world-choices directly affect the earth.
What it does
FutureEarth tracks the carbon footprint of your meals, travel, and energy use, then shows you how you're doing and predicts how much carbon you may emit in the future based on the data from your current habits. Your virtual pet cat reacts to your choices, every time you log something, and you can even compete with friends!
How we built it
Using Figma to design the UI/UX. For backend we used Python, FastAPI, Supabase, Gemini API. For frontend we used TypeScript, React, and Vite.
Challenges we ran into
Merge conflicts.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We solidified ort learning of Supabase, and how to connect the frontend and the backend. We also are really proud of the ideas we came up with before we decided on the current one.

What's next for FutureEarth
We hopefully would like to add different species of animals and expand the shop, as well as creating a mobile app version
