Students from underprivileged and underserved communities often struggle with understanding application timelines, financial aid, scholarships, and identifying schools that match their academic profile and interests.
AdmitDillo was inspired by the need to level the playing field — to create a centralized, intelligent, and accessible platform that guides students through every step of the college admissions journey while fostering meaningful peer and alumni connections. f What it does
AdmitDillo is a college connection and application planning platform designed for rising high school seniors.
It helps students:
- Discover colleges and programs based on major interests, geographic preferences (e.g., Pennsylvania), - and academic profile
- Classify schools into reach, target, and safety categories
- Build personalized application schedules (ED, EA, Regular Decision, supplementals)
- Track deadlines and requirements
- Analyze strengths and stats (GPA, course rigor, extracurriculars, leadership impact, demographics) to generate tailored recommendations
- Access financial aid guidance and reminders
- Receive AI-powered scholarship recommendations based on strengths, interests, and background
- Connect with alumni from similar high schools who attend desired colleges
- Match with peers in their geographic area with similar interests for accountability and support
- Participate in virtual “speed-dating” style Zoom sessions to build connections The platform also serves as a free resource for underserved public schools through partnerships and sponsorship funding.
