Fast User Switching and Management via Fingerprint

For this Cal Hacks project, we decided we would take fingerprint authentication, and stretch it to the limit. We opted to extend the functionalities of a fingerprint sensor from verifying the user is who they say they are, but rather to completely automating switching between users securely and quickly, while also allowing high degrees of automation and, jointly, customization.

Features:

• Quickly login to user accounts via fingerprint
• Quickly switch between user accounts (no matter what account you are on!)
• Set up profiles corresponding to each of your fingerprints
• Improve productivity by blocking websites with your right thumb print
• Easily and efficiently modify your user profiles with your left thumb print
• Make cleaning up simple -- close everything with your right pinky, or logout with your left!

All of these features are completely based on the user -- every person with access to the computer can have different profiles and change on the fly, or they can easily use our default profiles.

• Setup includes registering your fingerprints with your computer beforehand, and keeping the script running in the background during usage. Winbio.lib must be imported into your linker. Some systems may require script be in focus during scanning.
