Inspiration
Every time when exams come close, I open my colleges ERP to check my attendance, but what I could see is months of attendance not updated not because it is not recorded but teachers are lazy to manually update attendance and till the last day before exam which is Sunday the list of defaulter is released and the exam is on Monday morning leaving no option than to regret that's it.
What it does
It creates a seamless dashboard of college with faculty, HoD and administration roles, where attendance management, notices, calendars and all of day-to-day college tasks are in a single place and the attendance once marked by the teachers in the lecture gets instantly reflected across the system the system and the administration.
How we built it
Using Lovable, Typescript, Tailwind, React and Supabse.
Challenges we ran into
Taking Supabase for backend in place of traditional ERP Backend systems.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a platform like ERP which is the heart of a college all of it completely using vibe coding.
What we learned
- How to prompt.
- Correct use of AI.
- Planning the features well in advance to get a map of the entire development life cycle. ## What's next for FusionEd: Campus Management System We're planning to make it a solid system to make it into a startup to rent it to institutions at dirt cheap and prices varying according to the features they select.
