Inspiration

The inspiration behind Furni was to create a visually captivating and user-friendly e-commerce platform that effectively showcases a curated selection of contemporary furniture. The goal was to blend modern design with sophistication, providing users with an engaging and seamless shopping experience.

What it does

Furni serves as an exquisite online destination for home furniture, where users can explore various high-quality pieces, add items to their cart, and complete their purchases effortlessly. The website effectively communicates the furniture company's brand identity and showcases its products with elegance and style.

How we built it

Furni was built using Next.js, TailwindCSS, and GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform). Next.js provided a robust framework for server-side rendering and efficient page navigation. TailwindCSS facilitated rapid and responsive design development, while GSAP added smooth animations and interactive elements. The development process involved meticulous planning, design, and iterative development to ensure both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was optimizing performance while maintaining visual richness. Balancing high-quality images and animations with fast loading times required fine-tuning and optimization techniques. Integrating complex animations seamlessly posed technical hurdles that we overcame through thorough testing and troubleshooting.

We're proud to have successfully created a dynamic and highly functional e-commerce platform that represents the furniture company's brand and showcases its products in an engaging manner.
