We wanted to do a game with the Oculus Rift. Our original idea was going to be a dungeon style adventure game, but we changed our minds and wanted to do something more unique. Our team had seen the previous, more well-known Oculus flying demo; however, we wanted to go more in depth. We're really proud of the collapsing buildings, as well as the exploding. The flying took a while to get a right feel, and we definitely like the cross-hairs we added (made it easier to know where you were looking). A substantial difference between our game and the previous flying demo is that ours has more functionality than simply flying around, and we also allow the user to pan around while flying without it obstructing their flight path (more realistic).
