Inspiration

My inspiration was finding a way to use the native transparency of a blockchain to solve a real problem that helps people. I was inspired to help charitable organizations be more efficient in their mission to help others.

What it does

Funds for Humanity is a fundraising application that creates customizable crowdfund contracts that provides direct payments to people in need with transparency for donors. Payments are chainlink keepers compatible and can be automated.

How we built it

I built the block end with foundry to develop and test the crowdfunding contracts and built the front end with next js and thirdweb. I used chainlink for automating the contracts.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges that I ran into was balancing my time to build as full time dad of an infant.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to build my first use case on a protocol that I have build for tokenizing digital assets in 2 months with a limited amount of time.

What we learned

I learned how to use thirdweb for faster front end development along with a better user experience

What's next for Funds For Humanity

I plan to continue to build more payment functionality and additional features to create a new standard for how crowdfunding is done with cryptocurrency. Also I plan to create a gasless user experience for all types of users outside of web 3
