Inspiration
As amateur college students interested in investing in the markets, we usually come across market trends, news, and graphs informing us about stock prices. However, for long term investments, we believe we need to be well informed about a company's financials and statements and not just the stock prices
What it does
We built a platform that summarizes financial documents for people without an accounting background to help them make informed investment decisions, without predicting any stock prices.
How we built it
We built the product in python and deployed the website with the help of streamlit, while using various python libraries including numpy, pandas, streamlit, beautiful soup, pypdf, pdfplumber, ploty graph objects, textblob, yfinance, requests.

We faced challenges while reading through pdfs to extract key values through financial documents.

What's next for Fundamental And Quant Analysis
We plan to develop the features of this website by integrating AI to explains all financial reports, trained on the specific data.
