Phantom Solana wallet public address- J579WNScyegAm5fHGfarLy5cvuqDP7oYVeSxbT58RAL9

Inspiration

I was inspired by small projects going unnoticed due to lack of funding. I wanted to help them

What it does

It allows people to invest in other people's projects or events and gain equity in them which is stored and verifiable on the block chain and allows them to propose new ideas and vote based on how much voting power they have.

How we built it

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/18VEz_Jmu_0VI-9RWQOua8qfpW1APUMf9FdNmDFFAxbs/edit?usp=sharing We built it using two smart contracts one for Phantom (Solana) wallets and another one for the Gemini or Meta Mask wallet which both use Arbitrum

Challenges we ran into

Solana was hard to implement because the anchor library I was using was outdated and could not parse the information well so we had to work around it and cost a couple hours but eventually it was a fun learning experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that we can make payments on the testnet and store information on the blockchain to ensure security.

What we learned

Blockchain is incredibly fun. Since it was my first time working on it, building it was a hard but rewarding experience. I want to work on more Blockchain projects which go beyond just Crypto and really get into the theoretical part of its other applications as well.

What's next for Fund Yourself

I will try and develop it further if I am able to and allow for more wallet integrations and student verification so clubs specifically can raise funds for their events and have some bounties or rewards for people who donate to them.
