Inspiration

My inspiration for Fund-It was the fact that there were not many ways to create fund-raisers for people's various projects and I wanted to build one.

What it does

It can create Fund Raisers and allow project owners to collect funding for their projects without much work.

How we built it

I used Next JS for the frontend, and MongoDB to store information about users and donations and transactions and payments are all running on XRP Ledger with XUMM SDK.

Challenges we ran into

There weren't many challenges and everything was so developer-friendly but I faced some troubles when I was sending payments to the beneficiary but I eventually solved them and moved on with the application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I was able to build a complete application with XRPL and XUMM SDK even though I knew nothing about them before this hackathon.

What we learned

I learned many things about XRP Ledger, and XUMM SDK in general.

What's next for Fund It

I am planning to allow people to mint and NFT once they have donated somebody on Fund It. I think it would be a new experience for fundraisers and people would love that.
