Inspiration

It was our first time participating in a 'Hackathon' so we wanted to do something better for the enviroment and something that connects the world. Most people throw away their furniture, clothes, books, bicycles ect when they are in perfect use. It broke our hearts to see those perfectly good items go to waste without a second chance. We created an app that sells second-hand items to give them the full opportunity of being used.

What it does

It is an app where people can sell their second-hand items that they no longer use. It gives them to share the beloved items a second chance and become their loved items.

How we built it

We used the AI feture in 'Figma' to help us map out our initial planning of our app. Later on, we used google slides to put all of our information that are essential for the app.

Challenges we ran into

Since this is just an idea for the future, we plan to launch it locally first to see how the scalibility. Additionally, we didn't know if people would trust our app when it is launched.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are most proud of how thought-out our idea was. It helps people gain a sense of responsibility as they are helping the enviroment by reusing the items that they once loved. Additionally, we realized that people that we care for will always support us whatever we do. This created a drive for us to continue our creation

What we learned

We learnt that making an app for local use is harder than we thought. Instead we had to think about the smallest possible problem that might occur, such as the user trying to sell live products.

What's next for 'Functional' Team

If our team gets picked as the winner, we are planning to make the app an offical app. With this we are able to create a world with a better community
