Inspiration: Manual tank cleaning is risky and unhygienic. This project aims to replace human effort with a safe, automated solution. What it does: An autonomous robot that enters tanks, detects dirt, avoids obstacles, and cleans surfaces using water jets without human control. How we built it: We used Raspberry Pi 4 for decision-making and Arduino Uno for control, along with sensors, motors, and a water pump integrated into a waterproof robotic system. Challenges we ran into: Waterproofing, navigation without GPS, power management, and ensuring full cleaning coverage. Accomplishments that we're proud of: Built a working autonomous prototype that improves safety and reduces manual effort. What we learned: Gained hands-on experience in robotics, sensor integration, and solving real-world safety problems.
