Inspiration

Our team, of various cultural, and share difficulties with understanding of English abbreviations, thus have devised a simple aid.

What it does

The FullForm chrome extension opens a text box so any text may be decode and translated into a native language.

How we built it

We took advantage of Google's Gemini-flash-lite-latest to understand then translate abbreviation of words.

Challenges we ran into

There was an up hill battle of interweaving the back-end server, user interface, and Gemini API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We able to connect our chrome extension to FastAPI app and Gemini Model.

What we learned

Our experience led to discover the advantages of the integration of Gemini API and FastAPI.

What's next for FullForm Chrome Extension

We have the options of expanding our language options, putting a voice capabilities or moving to mobile compatibility.
