Inspiration

I've recently become unemployed and when searching for jobs across multiple sites, I'm looking for help in finding all relevant jobs.

What it does

It helps unemployed people in Denmark to keep track and submit their applications to the government, so they can continue to receive benefits.

How we built it

Started out by creating a well defined prompt for the "One-prompt challenge", (a different submission), and providing Bolt.new with two AI generated PRD's (one from ChatPRD and one from Cursor). Then created a clear development task list, that was followed with certain rules.

Challenges we ran into

The codebase got big, so it was difficult to review.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It will be a timesaver for unemployed people in Denmark.

What we learned

It's amazing what you can build using natural language, though having experience in tech/development as a product manager, definitely helps.

What's next for Job Application Tracker

Expand the functionality to be able to actually submit applications, CV's etc. to Jobnet.dk, i.e. creating the integration to Jobnet.dk, and develop chrome extension for smooth adding of jobs to the tracker.
