Inspiration

Budgeting is now getting more important for students to prepare for manage their property or assets in the future, so we are now building a user-friendly budgeting app for students to manage their spending with ease.

What it does

This budgeting app allows users to edit, add, and delete the history of transactions, which includes their expenses, income, and savings. Moreover, the app allows users to set limits to their budget, hence their awareness of budgeting could be risen. With the aid of an algorithm, an overall score will be give to users as their final tips for budgeting, which is analysed by the monthly expenses and income.

How we built it

We used Taipy as our web application builder in Python.

Challenges we ran into

As we are all new to Taipy, we need to start from scratch to build the application by reading its documentation only. It took us a long time to get us familiarise with the builder. Apart from that, many of us don't have the experience of making websites, especially with Python, therefore lots of learning are done within these 24 hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have completed the design and wireframes of the budgeting app. On the coding part, we have built a model for a web app successfully.

What we learned

We are now familiar with Taipy and able to build a web app with Python. On top of that, with these knowledge, we are capable to put our python application projects onto website easily with Taipy, which can be fascinating.
