Inspiration

We were inspired to combine our expertise in mobile development with the exciting possibilities of augmented reality (AR).

What it does

Mobile application that displays user network statistics, such as network speed, number of extenders, and number of wireless/wired devices. The app also provides a recommended product from Frontier's product catalog list and a chatbot for extra assistance when purchasing. Additionally, when looking at the entire list of products, the user can see an AR version of the product when applicable so that they can envision how it looks in their homes. The app includes a chatbot for assistance with purchases or troubleshooting using the SambaNova's Cloud API.

How we built it

In order to build our application, we used Xcode and coded in Swift in order to build an iOS app. Moreover, we implemented the Samba Nova API for a chatbot and a model created from the Frontier database provided by the sponsors.

Challenges we ran into

Implemented the AR was difficult because we were unfamiliar with this concept, as well as figuring out how to implement the API from Samba Nova.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of successfully designing an intuitive and visually appealing user interface, integrating cutting-edge technologies like AR, implementing a sophisticated chatbot powered by the SambaNova API, and leveraging deep machine learning to enhance product recommendations and user experience.

What we learned

We learned how to implement AR into a mobile device, utilize multiple databases to create a model, and so much more.

What's next for FronTIER

In order to implement scalability, we could input more Frontier products as they come out and update as these new products are purchased by various customers.
