Inspiration - we were inspired by the five challenges of space flight, particularly isolation. FROGER is a way to connect crew members with their family back home.

What it does - FROGER allows astronauts to participate in family board game night from the Gateway and beyond. Crew dons a virtual reality device connected to a camera system in their home that allows them to play games and interact in a more real simulation of being home. Imagine playing Go Fish with your four year old while 250,000 miles away in lunar orbit.

How we built it - FROGER is just a concept at this time.

Challenges we ran into - our team is not technically minded, so we were limited to conceptual solutions rather than real code and hardwear.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - the acronym, it's froger. What child of the 70s and 80s doesn't love froger.

What's next for FROGER - we would love to explore existing multiplayer game environments currently available for VR devices to see what domains we can borrow from and merge.
