Time to build healthier digital habits by keeping your friends accountable track their screentime on websites and send them messages to help them stay on track!
Inspiration We were inspired a lot by having something that could help keep friends accountable, and we went through many ideas of friends helping each other and to stay on technology less, that is when we came up with Friend Limit.
What it does Friend Limit is a browser extension tracks your friends screentime on certain websites, and you can send messages to them to keep them accountable.
How we built it We built it using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We also used FastAPI and AWS
Challenges we ran into We ran into challenges actually making a tracker for it mainly because of the little time that we had with the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of our frontend user exp, and that we were able to figure out how to setup a server for it on a short timeframe.
What we learned We were not familiar with browser extensions so we learned how to build one.
What's next for Friend Limit Hopefully continue building it into a working browser extension and be used by many people.
