Inspiration

We wanted to help people in need with basic hardware functions

What it does

using hardware tools like sensors, cameras, or any hardware that you can think of and would be connected wirelessly and transmit data to an AI assistant. The AI assistant would take those inputs, turn them into a prompt, execute the prompt, and give an output.

How we built it

using ESP32 dev boards with basic sensors like an AHT20 and BMP280 sensors to read data and transmit it to another ESP32 onto an LCD screen. This data would also be sent to the AI, which would generate prompts based on it.

Challenges we ran into

Hardware blockage(don't have the hardware needed), limited Tolkan resources for AI. from being local to remote( teammates needed to leave due to weather)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

sending data wirelessly to boards and an AI assistant, with the AI assistant able to recognize image data and produce an output. Speech to text on the AI assistant, text to speech on the AI assistant

What we learned

Integrating hardware with AI tools to make a functional prototype.

What's next for Freya

Having it open source so anyone can use it to help with their basic needs. Also, remote access so Freya can be used anywhere in the world.
