Inspiration
Instead of solving one specific problem that might be unique to us, we decided to solve a worldwide problem. Almost all teens spend most of their days cuddled up at home on devices and many struggle to fight the addiction. While staying indoors has its own benefits, going outside is also an important aspect of one’s life. Because of this, we’ve decided to create a simple and engaging app that encourages users to spend more time outdoors.
What it does
FreshAir is a gamified app that encourages users to go outside through daily photo challenges. Users complete challenges by taking outdoor photos, earning experience points, maintaining streaks, and climbing the leaderboards. The app turns what many teenagers consider a chore to a fun daily activity.
