Inspiration

There's tons of apps that focus on self-improvement, but not enough focusing on improving the environment around your area.

What it does

This app essentially gamify's doing tasks around your enviornment. You earn XP by participating in activities that benefit your surroundings.

How we built it

MongoDB, express, React Native, Node.js, GitHub, Git

Challenges we ran into

We had lots of trouble configuring a home page and a navigation bar, which ended up eating far more time than it should have. Thus, we lost some features in the process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We had learned new programs and languages that some of us were novices to, learning and implementing features was a great feat.

What we learned

We learned that its important to time-block and work together efficiently. Some problems could have been resolved much sooner if questions had been asked.

What's next for Fresh Step

Fresh Step can be optimized in order to improve the user experience as well as add some touches of art, as there's a lot of ill-used space that could've been filled.
