Inspiration

We were inspired by the massive global problem of food waste, to create a environmentally friendly app which solves this problem

What is it

Fresh Finds uses the power of social media to let users donate and receive food off of our platform for free

How was it built

We built it by creating our initial wireframe in Figma, and implemented parts of it into our prototype using React Native

Setbacks along the way

We initially tried using Flask and repl.it but after facing several issues had to move to the more unfamiliar React One of our teammates ghosted after the first day

Building a functioning interactive app in React Native Learning new programming concepts and about our teammates along the way
