Inspiration

The idea for Fresh & Found came from a passion for healthy, sustainable living and the desire to support local farmers. With the growing demand for fresh, organic produce, we saw an opportunity to create a platform that connects consumers with locally grown, eco-friendly products while reducing food miles and promoting sustainability.

What it does

Fresh & Found is an online marketplace dedicated to delivering fresh, locally sourced produce and vegan-friendly products directly to your doorstep. We partner with local farmers to provide organic, high-quality fruits, vegetables, and pantry items, ensuring that customers have easy access to nutritious food while supporting their community.

How we built it

We built Fresh & Found using modern web technologies, including a clean, user-friendly interface powered by HTML and CSS with the back-end managed with MongoDB.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges I faced was connecting the backend with the frontend since this is my first time using MongoDB.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of creating my first e-commerce website that has a backend with a responsive frontend and a pretty UI design too.

What we learned

Through this journey, I learned how to use MongoDB, and understand mostly on how to build a responsive website

What's next for Fresh and Found

I plan on refining the backend to make it much more clean, and maybe creating a better web design.
